He will also reinforce the business case for why institutions should be investing time and money into cleansing their counterparty data. Other panelists include John Sproat, Executive Director of Morgan Stanley and Peter Giordano, CEO of CIBC.
Where
FIMA: Entity Data Management 2007, The Digital Sandbox, New York, NY
When
Wednesday, September 19, at 4:25 p.m.
Why
As financial organizations strive to meet KYC/AML requirements and ensure they can run accurate risk models they must have access to clean, consistent, reliable counterparty data. A recent A-Team Group industry survey of senior executives responsible for data management, commissioned by GoldenSource, highlights the growing importance of linking counterparty data into the securities master. The survey, entitled "Traditional Methods Make Way for Proactive Compliance and Risk Management" will be available at the GoldenSource stand at FIMA Entity Data Management 2007, and will also be available for download from the GoldenSource website.
