FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Our client wanted to offer an on-line Internet banking service to its new and existing retail customers. As part of this initiative, the bank identified a data management requirement to manage the end to end processing and on-boarding of account applications. The bank decided to extend its existing implementation of GoldenSource Customers to deliver this critical backbone to the new online account opening process. Functionality that was delivered by GoldenSource includes
GoldenSource has supported full internationalization for more than five years, include double-byte (multi-byte) character sets. This means Japanese, Korean and Chinese scripts such as Kanji, Katakana, Han and others can be used throughout the application’s user interfaces, as well as for displaying metadata and business data. This implementation illustrates how customers are using the flexible GoldenSource solution to extend the good business principles of an EDM implementation into new areas, such as online and customer-facing processes that require full support for local languages and character sets, complex workflows, and integration with existing internal and external business processes. * * *
